Governor Island comprises two small granite islands, with a combined area of about 2 ha, in south-eastern Australia. It is part of the Schouten Island Group, lying close to the eastern coast of Tasmania near the Freycinet Peninsula and the town of Bicheno. It is a nature reserve.[1]
Recorded breeding seabird and wader species are Little Penguin, Silver Gull, Sooty Oystercatcher and Crested Tern.[1]
